Art has a long and exceptional insurance background, beginning in 1970 while living in San Jose, California. He spent 10 years selling life, disability income and retirement plans. Later, Art and a business associate formed an insurance brokerage company specializing in (employee benefits) medical/dental and group life insurance plans. In 1990, Art moved to Camas Washington, initially concentrating on Long Term Care coverages, with continuing life insurance sales. Specific accomplishments:
• Graduated from Pennsylvania Military College in 1967, commissioned in US Army. • Entered the Life Insurance business in 1970. • Qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table the first (5) years • Gained certification as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) • Formed an Employee Benefits marketing partnership • Became President of Innovative Health Services Inc (San Jose, CA) • Past President of the San Jose, CA., Chapter of Insurance and Financial Advisors (700 members). • Past President of the Vancouver-Clark Chapter of the Insurance and Financial Advisors (100 members). • Added Long Term Care planning to portfolio • Past President of a 700 family member Vancouver, WA., Cascade Little League. • Currently appointed as the ORNG Benefits Inc., State Sponsored Life Insurance and Long Term Care Insurance Representative • Currently spearheading a community effort to build the first "Miracle League" baseball field for handicapped kids in Southwest WA.
